Dr. Satin Patel, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specialty board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Patel’s special interests in assisted reproductive technologies include preimplantation genetic diagnoses, fertility preservation and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). He has special expertise in hysteroscopic surgery, in efforts to optimize the uterus to enhance pregnancy rates. He frequently lectures to gynecologists and reproductive endocrinologists on a national level.
Dr. Patel is a California native and graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) summa cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience, and then attended David Geffen School of Medicine also at UCLA. He then completed his internship and residency in 2007 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Patel completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
Dr. Patel has published several scientific articles in many peer-reviewed journals, including Fertility and Sterility, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, the Biennial Review of Infertility, the Journal of the Society of Gynecological Investigation, Reproductive Sciences and Seminars in Human Reproduction. He has been invited to speak at several international conferences to address the potential treatment avenues for women affected by PCOS-related infertility.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, American College for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Patel lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
